240 stalls 200 1987

It was kind of damp in the morning, my 87 240 started up and ran fine and then stalled out in about 2 minutes, and stalled out as soon as I hit the gas, this went on for about 5 minutes and then ran fine from there on out. Any ideas what this could be? Distributor Cap? The wires are good, I know that for a fact. Fuel pressure relay is good as is the air mass meter. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated, thanks, Cassidy
