This might be a stupid question, but I'm just wondering. One day recently while feeling around under the hood, my hand brushed the wire from the starter to the distributor cap, and I received an unpleasant little shock. My curiosity led me to purposely touch the wire, and I could definitely feel the current moving through the wire. I'm just wondering if this might be a sign of it being time for new wires? I wouldn't think you should be able to get shocked touching the casing of the wires.
