Can anyone tell me if my concept is right here? I bought an HID conversion kit from the ebay and I wanna do the following:
1. connect the power from the head light bulb socket to a 12v relay (with a NC and NO terminals.)
2. When I am at the DRL mode, I assume the supply voltage to the head light will be lower than 12V, I run the wire from my head light to the NO terminal then to my fog lights to power them.
3. When I am at the driving light mode, I assume the supply voltage to the head light will be at 12v or slightly higher so it triggers the relay and jump it to the NC terminal which then I will run a wire from there to power my HID kit.
In short I would like to wire the lighting system such that in day time I will be using fog lights as DRL and at night I will be using my new HID kit.
Is my concept right? Thank you for any advise! Brickboard had help me alot before, hope this time will get some great helpful feedback from all you expert.
