My wife is getting nervous with our Volvos. 86' 240 with true miles unknown (about 250,000 by my estimating) and 87' 245 with 225,000. I am so comfortable with these cars it is scary.

We have search for another car that fits our budget (near $0). We looked at a an 89'745 ti with 170,000 miles for $1500 (I loved it she did not want a manual).
A 91? 745 Turbo with 105,000 too expensive ($3700) and last night I saw a 92' 240 with an M47 and 270,000 for $300 (MY KINDA CAR!)

I really want the 92' - it needs a clutch (or maybe just some adjustment !!!!) a winshield at least to pass inspection. Started easy and idled and revved wonderfully. A couple of shallow dents (a basketball backboard fell on it)and some homedone patch work by upper drivers side a pillar are the only blemishes. Lenses are great, NO RUST! A/Cnot cooling (fan is quiet ). I think its a bargain at $300 (could probably get it for $200).

I'm doing a side job (Deck) to get some cash.... I hope to get it...
