Blackish Greyish smoke 140-160

My foot felt heavy earlier today, and during a trip to 6k rpms on the freeway entrance ramp I saw through the rearview mirror some greyish smoke. Not thick, I could see through it easily, no odd noises, sputtering, or loss of power. I have a 71 140 with a 2.2L overbore, headers, glass pack exhaust, and d-jet.
is something going wrong?
