I have been putting up with this miss since the middle of last summer. Both the dealer and my independent Volvo mechanic could not find out why it was happening. Basically I replaced the AMM, power stage, wires, distributor cap and rotor, plugs, fuel relay, coolant sensor, four new injectors, radio suppression relay and repaired the wiring to the radio suppression relay. Reason for going through the replacement of all those electrical components is it acted like an electrical miss.

Well after perusing the FAQ for the umpteenth time I came to a problem concerning a bad FPR. I also gives similar symptoms as an electrical ignition miss. Well replaced the FPR today and so far so good the miss has disappeared for now. If it doesn't reappear in the next week or so I should be good to go.
