960 Oil Cooler O Rings Replacement 900

As some 960 owners know, the oil cooler o rings can fail over time and need to be replaced. The first time I did this I put a little oil on the o rings and buttoned back up; always seeped there after. The last time I cleaned the surfaces really well, oiled the small o ring and applied a thin coat (just a very very little so you hardly know it's there) of RTV Silicone to the edges of the larger o ring(gasket)where they mate with the surfaces; tightened the large bolt and no more seepage. Replaced the cooler hoses also didn't want to chance them after they got oil on 'em. I also hand torque the filter now so as not to stress the large o ring.
