An intermittent problem has cropped up on my '87 240. Occasionally, when under hard acceleration, the engine will suddenly cut out as if it's starved for fuel. If I ease up on the throttle, it'll continue to run, but with very limited power. I might be able to get it to maintain 45-55 or so by nursing the throttle very gently. If I give it any more throttle, it cuts out. If I stop and turn off the key for a couple of minutes, it'll start back up and seem to be alright again. The external fuel pump, filter, and pump relay are all new. I tried disconnecting the AMM, but there was no discernable difference. Any ideas?
