RE: 1991 VOLVO 240 4CYL AUTO 187K MILES

PROBLEM:
If car has been inactive for a while, everything is fine.
After I've run the car, shut it off, and then start it
up again (withing a couple of hours), it has increasingly
decided to die at random intervals. It won't start right
back up... I have to wait about 5 minutes (if I try to
start it immediately and pump the gas at all, that clock
goes up to 20 minutes).
