Just rolled out my 83 turbo for it's first fireing and i got nothing. i've done an auto to manual conversion and non-intercooled to intercooled conversion. i've got a buzzing noise coming from the airbox dizzy when power is hooked up, not to mention all of my dash lights and running lights are just flat out on. turn the key and i get nothing. wondering if the wiring in the harnesses are different from an 83 motor (what was in there) to an 84 motor (what is in there now)- i don't think so- but it is worth asking. so needless to say, i got a hot ride and i can't get it running. does anyone have suggestions on how to approach the issue? does anyone know electrical- live in the NYC metro area and want to make a hundred bucks? does anyone know a good volvo mechanic in the area that could diagnose the problem a heck of a lot quicker than i can? thanks all. much appreciated.
