something drains my battery...and my energy 200 1990

Something drains my battery. I just got the alternator changed and a new battery. The car sits there.Then i start it ,runs fine...suddenly dies at the stop. I crank, the starter but i hear click-click...My neighbourg boosted the car,but the second we unplug the cables,car dies..damn..what could it be?
