245 front winshield wipers dosn't work intermediatly. 200 1984

The 245 TI that I just addopted seems to have an inoperative itermediate front wiper. The normal and fast speeds work great. I hopeing that it is either the swith or the relay. What is going to be my best method of checking? If it is the switch, is this the same part for all years or the 245 or? Thanks and happy bricking. I guess I will have to change my siganture now.
