Manul shifter mount broken 700

I broke my 87 740 manual shifter mount. Oooh those Canadian winters with all that salt. The mount broke off all 4 tubes, 2 at the shifter and 2 on the transmission side. I just orderd a new one from Volvo with parts for 300cdn. Is there an easy way to install this and or is there anything else I should be doing along the way.
