I'm a former Volvo owner. After getting rid of my first one, I immediately regretted it. Now I am in a position where I can chose between 2 for reasonable prices. The first is an 83 2 door black turbo GL with 78k miles, but the head needs overhauling (stuck valve?) and is an automatic (asking $450). The second is an 84 4 door blue turbo GL with 186k on it, and requires new front rotors, pads and passenger caliper. In addition, it idles rough (throttle body?) and leaks oil (asking $300). I know the second option is a more cost effective short term solution, but the black two door is really calling out to me. Does anyone have eny words of wisdom or advice as to what I should do?
