I pulled the relay, and it looks fine. I pulled the fuse "box" and checked all the wires etc and they look good. I re-sanded & lightly greased the contact. I changed fuses - although I am using the glass kind.
But fuse #7 is still extremely hot. I'm beginning to think that it has always been hot, and I just never noticed. The car is running and my stereo, which is apparently on the same circuit, has decided to start working again.
Am I asking for trouble if I assume that everything is ok? Any additional ideas as to what could be causing the hot fuse, and does it require immediate attention?
As always, thanks in advance.
