1976 245 dieseling ???

hi

almost every time i shut my '76 245 off, it diesels (basically, the key is off, but the engine roars back to life for about 2 seconds). sometimes it repeats several times, but not usually. i read in the owner's manual something about the injectors leaking... is this correct, and what do i need to do?
