Hi
The Auto on my 940 (non turbo [unfortunately]) locks up at 88km/hr, effecting what feels like a gear change with revs dropping. If I'm on a climb, it loses power, slows to below 88, unlocks, speeds up, locks, slows, unlocks, speeds up, locks, slows, unlocks, speeds up, locks, slows, unlocks, speeds up, locks, slows, unlocks, speeds up, locks, slows, unlocks, speeds up, locks, slows, unlocks, speeds up, locks, slows, unlocks, speeds up, locks, slows........
I got as frustrated driving the other day as you probably are reading!! The only other option I had was to drop out the overdrive, but revs are a bit high, and probably kill economy. (I also dreamt about dropping in a V8 or a Manual Tranny.)
Is there anyway of temporarily stopping it from unlocking? I had a look at the wiring diag, and I couldn't spot an easy way. Or is it part of some complicated computer programming.
thanks
