OK So what's the 'normal' reading after a temp' comp' board bypass. 200 1988

I'm getting ready to switch over to an electric fan so I bypassed the temp' comp' board so I'd have a temp gauge that actually gave a reading instead of being on/off.

I expected to see a "normal" reading at the 9:00 position, I'm seeing 8:00-8:30 and never straight out at 9:00. I did change the thermostat a while back and doin't remember if I used 88º or 82º if it's an 82º then that would make sense I guess.

What do you guys that have the standard 88º 'stat see? On top of that IPD shows an 88º and 92º while the green book calls for 87º
Thanks
