87 745T,175k, I'm driving along and the car loses all power and dies. No dice trying to restart. No overheating, car turns over fine, all electricals and ignition OK. BUT....But........when i try to restart I get white smoke out the exhaust and strong smell of gas. No sign of gunk in my oil or loss of coolant. Please tell me it ain't the headgasket! Pleez!?
