(Breakerless Turbo IGN.)
The car ran fine. Then the next AM it wouldn't start. The starter is making a high pitched "whir" but turns the motor over fine. I have concluded that my impulse sender is not sending a signal to the control unit keeping spark from getting to the coil. I cannot think of any way the spark problem and the new starter sound is related. My question is this. Can a slow turning starter prevent an impulse sender from sending its signal? Or are these two separate problems that just happened to occur at the same time?
Thanks,
Mark
