Intermediate wiiper setting problem 200

My 1984 245 TI seems to have a problem with the wipers. I find that the wipers work on the normal and the fast speeds but fail the itermeidate setting. When I click the switch up to intermediate I hear a click, so with that, I would only assue that the relay was working right? Also, if the wipers are working on the other setting the moter must be good right? I borrowed a swith from one of my 244 and pluged it in. Of course its would not control the back wiper, but it also did not let the itermediate setting work but did allow the fast and normal settings to work
