Wagging Tail 200

My wife's 240 has 100k mi on the clock. Don't know how old the shocks are, but the front feels stiff and the rear feels reasonable when doing the "questionable) bounce test. But driving over any minor bump makes me sea sick! Thought it was the shocks, but while bouncing the car I've found that I can wag the tail and it just keeps on wagging. And it's a lot, can't do that on the front (which got poly bushes 2 years ago). It just feels wrong. Any suggestions, is there a rear bushing that can cause this when it fails? Thanks.
