Need to replace the brake rotor disc 700

I have an old beaten-up '87 745 that has two rotor discs that are grooved. I was wanting to swap them out with some better stuff from the boneyard.

Any trick to getting the rotor disc off? When I tried a rear wheel disc at the boneyard I pulled everything off I could see on both sides and it still would not come off.
