'78 245, girlings. i just replaced the front calipers, rotors, and pads. no sweat. got myself a motive products powerbleeder(tm), the offices and production warehouse for which happens to be a 10 minute bike ride. so i went to bleed the entire system, and found the first in the sequence, left rear, didn't yield any fluid. when i went to pump the brake pedal, it would reach the end of its travel, and what little resistance it offered would simply give out with a small fart, and no air was being pushed out the open bleeder valve. the rest of the sequence bled normally. i guess tomorrow i'm going to start disassembling the left rear brake system starting from the caliper. it looks like the LR regulating valve is rusted over.
what does this indicate to you all? any advice?
thanks,
der dieter
