ok this car is driving me crazy. 1983 242 DL. i put a new engine in the car and after a bit of a hassle got everything running.... mostly. the timing seems right. idle after warming up is at 1K. but while warming up the rpm's fluctuate as much as 500. also once its warmed up i can't get it to go over 2500rpms. and it hesitates like crazy when i hit the gas. is this poor fuel pressure???
