water pump heater pipe gasket keep blowing 700

I installed a new water pump for the third time the other day, along with new plugs, wires,and a timing belt. Everything went well except for the gasket that connects the metal heater hose from the back of the engine to the water pump. I know that gasket is a pain in the ass to install, and i installed it two different ways. However, everytime i install it, it just ends up blowing. Anyone else ever had this problem?
