Ack! got the machine shop report - heads .0060 out, unsalvagable - what do I do now??!!?? 900

'91 940 turbo wagon, b230ft. Machine shop called, and told me my head is junk. *sigh*. And I have to pay them too, which is an added bonus. It is 0.0060" out, and they can only safely remove half that, max. Crap. So what do I do now? Get a junkyard head, and hope for the best, or should I just bite the bullet and buy the FCP Groton reconditioned head for $560? Will they accept the head as a core if it is unsalvagable? If not, that is another $450. I just dropped $400 on new tires, and another $300 on parts for this headgasket replacement, so scrapping the car is not an option. Crap crap crap crap crap. Any advice would be appreciated.
