After about a 2 year hiatus, I am back. I use to post on the 200 board regularly when I owned several 200 series, including a V8 conversion.
I've been driving a VW Beetle TDI and an Ford F150 lately, but today I agreed to purchase a 1992 Volvo 965 from ebay. I pick it up tonight and it looks nice enough for what I paid.
So as a first time owner of a 6 cylinder 9 wagon, what should I immediately do when I get it into my garage?
What I know: Car is working perfectly, no leaks, ac works, etc... New timing belt 5k miles ago, new bridgestone tires.
What are some common trouble spots I can eyeball quickly before purchasing yet another one of Robert Bentley's fine service manuals?
I would like to check cylinder compressions. (what is a good psi reading)
