4hp22 Transmission Question 700

Ok, some googling on the 4hp22 transmission turned up that this model is also used in BMW 325i, 525i,528i,735i, as well as in some Land Rovers. My question is can the transmission from one of these models be swapped with the 4hp22 in my '85 740 Turbo Diesel?
