sudden regular misfiring 700 1987

Had to change my alternator belt(broke off), and after installing it, the motor suddenly doesn't run smoohly anymore like it did right before, could I have touched moved or disconnect something, or could the strap have displaced anything when it broke off... I have retraced every wire from the alternator, the sensors on the same side have sealed every wire, cleaned the plugs, just changed my wires this week and it was doing better again, cant see what's the problem and I have spent a lot of time doing this...
help me please...
