Is it worth converting to traditional rear shocks 900 1992

I have the Nivomat setup on the rear of the 960, and I was curious if it is worth doing the conversion over to traditional rear shocks. I usually don't own cars long enough to go through one set of shocks, letalone many. Currently the car sits level without any rear sag, so I am curious if there are great handling advantages associated with regular old boge turbogas shocks.

(and for fun, a photo from tonight's full moon countryside adventure)
