on a 93 240 ,are the ac hi and low ports on the compressor? 200

i can not see them from above....is the only way to access them from under neath?My friend wants me to do the 134 retro on her 93 which now just blows hot air...should i do it ?...is there any other reason[s] her ac does not work...any feedback appreciated as always...thanks,kris
