where can i buy a speedometer gear for aw70? 200

I cant find a speedometer gear. the one that is stuck in the transmision inside of a metal housing. I have looked everywhere on line and have had no luck. the volvo dealership said the part was on backorder and could take several weeks. I am begining to panic because i have a trip comming up soon.I cant drive the car right now because the gear in broken so now i have a hole the constantly leaks trans fluid. Where shold i be looking? anyone ever bought one of these? I do know the one i need is volvo#380980. thanks for any help, K
