It seems that there is some varying opinion regarding the need to bed in new brake pads. What's been your experience?

1. When you replace your pads and/or rotors - do you normally bed in the new pads or not?

2. If yes, has the process of doing so caused any brake problems?

3. If yes, what have been the benefits.
