T/A's FOR '85 wagon 200 1985

Tire question? '85 245DL wagon. Has anyone tried to run BFG T/A'S ALL TERRAIN KO'S size 27/8.5/14's? I was told that they are only one inch taller than stock! They would be my choice, if not to difficult to fit. I'll be using my stock 25 spoke turbo alloy's. I'm also going to be installing IPD'S overload rear springs. Will I have to raise the front? If so HOW? Any imput would be helpful! MAX!
