the compressor will not turn on. this car has the AC unit with the auto temp control feature. a garage I had look at the AC told me that they bypassed the control board somehow and made the compressor come on, and the A/C worked fine.

I don't want to take it to the dealer ......so have have had a stab at repairing the problem myself. I have removed the control unit above the radio to check for circuit board cracks and poor solder joints, and it looked OK. however, there were no control replays on this board. I suspect there is another control board somewhere that contains these relays and I would like to check the solder joints.



Where would this be located, and how would I get to it ??
