help! she left me stranded for the first time 200 1984

my 84 245 has been great, but yesterday she stranded me. it was running great until i cleaned the engine at the carwash. it started and ran fine til i got to the light the she stalled. no restart has been possible. i unplugged the amm thinking that it could be the problem but no, then i checked all the ignition wiring and all was intact. it starts but seems like its running on one or two cylinders, and if i try to give it gas it dies immediately, help me please. thanks
