I bought one of those Eastwood steering wheel rebuild kits. So far I'm pretty impressed with the results.

Here is the before picture:
One of the worst cracks before

Step one:
After filling in all the cracks with epoxy

Step 2:
After applying sandable primer

The last step after the primer dries is to paint it white.
