Can I 'upgrade' to a newer windshield/seal arrangment on my '89 240?? 200 1989

Will the newer style windshield/seal design (like on the '92 and '93 240s) fit on the older '89 240 models?

I think I'm going to have to replace a windshield seal and was considering asking the windshield folks this question. Any idea if it's easy?
