Couldn't find any leaks while holding flashlite under the dash. Must be the plastic access port covers on the cowl vent drainage system.

For the past two rain storms, about 1 inch of rainwater has accumulated on the driver's side floor. I don't remember whether or not this started BEFORE I had vacuumed out the cowl vent system...but I THINK that both times the rainwater accumulated it was AFTER I had vacuumed out the cowl vent system.

I removed the driver's seat and pulled back the carpeting and the floor pans by removing the rocker panel trim. While I was laying on my back..upside down, my wife flooded the windshield area. I didn't even see a drip. Nothing. We repeated the process with the cowl vent system...I unplugged one of the access ports by the driver's left foot and I could see water rushing past the hole. No leakage into the car.

The only thing I can come up with is that one of the plastic plugs wasn't entirely inserted when I initially pulled back the carpeting. Maybe I left it loosely plugged when I vacuumed out the cowl system about 4 weeks ago. I dunno.

Now I'll have to wait and see again ..I suppose.
