What problem would it cause if I replaced the intank fuel hose with regular hose. The reason I ask is that I think it has a crack in it allowing air to pull in when the tank is a little bit off full. I need to make a trip of about 600 miles but it bucks and surges so bad when the fuel gets almost to half it's almost undrivable in stop and go traffic. No one locally has the correct hose so I'm stuck.
What do you think??
Thanks,
Tony T
