At around 10 pm tonight, the wagon sparked back to life.. marking the first time I've taken a car apart and actually made it run again ... kinda happy about that! Thanks to everyone who gave bits of information along the way thus far. Indeed I was missing a spring in the transmission to hold it in reverse, etc.

Just so people know.. the front clip on 1968 140's (and I'm assuming at least 1967 as well).. WON'T fit a b20 style rad from a ~1971+ car.. You have to change the sheet metal and do a little fab work.. major pain.
