ignition armored cable & 'oil' light questions 120-130

I'm going with a Crane breakerless ignition but see that there are two types offered for a B20 (for engines with an 'armored' cable, and those without). What cable is being referred to, and how do I tell if mine is armored or not? I've done some perusing of the archives and I'm uncertain. Some additional info that seems like it might be pertinent from what I read on the archives: my car has a Bosch blue coil, and has a push-button ignition.

My dash 'oil' light suddenly stopped lighing when I initially turn the key on (it always goes out when I turn the engine over)- car starts and runs as normal. Maybe a bad bulb, but it corresponds with an oil and filter change (switched to synthetic) and a little bit of electrical work under the hood, but nothing that would seem to have interrupted that circuit. I know switching to synthetic oil can result in leaks showing up that weren't there previously- how about knocking out a pressure sensor?
Thanks
