New Stock Turbo struts/shocks vs. expensive Bilstein Shocks 900

Hi,

I have a 1993 940 Volvo (non-turbo). The car has approximately 175,000 miles on it, and has the original struts/shocks on it. I can tell the shocks are a bit worn by the fact that when I hit the brakes, the front of the car will sink some, and the car easily follows the groves in the freeway, and there body roll. I was told that if I really wanted improvement in how the car handles, I should buy the Bilstein shocks. I totally beleive that it would improve how the car handles, but what I want to know is if anyone has experienced replacing stock shocks, with new Volvo turbo gas shocks, and if you've noticed a difference in how the car handled?

Thank you,

Michael
