washed engine compartment #2 & #4 fouling 200

HEELP
i washed my car last night to remove the gunk on the exhaust from a leaky rear seal i replaced
it ran fine after replacing everything so i went to remove the gunk and got water somewhere
it is idling very very rough
i cleaned and checked the distributor cap and rotor
car will not run when i disconnect #1 or #3 plugwires but runs smoother when i remove 2or4
the #2 & #4 plugs are very gassy smelling, as is exhast smells
it seems like an iginition problem
i checked timing and it is at 13 deg btdc (OK) and the chrysler ignition does its advancement stuff as i plug or connect the vacuum hose to it
i have disconnected and reconnected all wires under the hood
