240 Air Conditioning 200 1993

Last year my 1993 Volvo 240's AC worked great, recently the air has not worked. I went to local shop and got the air re-charged and it worked for 2 days, and then stopped again. I have no idea why this is happening because it worked fine such a short while ago. And i don't think its a leak because that seems awfully quick to have been. Please help me with ideas, because the summer has just started and I'm sweating.
