New quiet engine, makes rear end howling comparatively louder.
I pulled the right rear axle last night, found typical 4 piece inner-seal, inner-race, outer-bearing, outer-seal. Bearing was running on oil only, apparently washed free of grease. Negligible leakage inside backing plate, but moist. Bearing was lubed lightly with oil.

I purchased this replacement bearing, which seems to have integral seals inside and out, and orings around the body. It's dimensions are correct, and it would appear to work.
No retaining ring came with it, although the listing said it did. No response yet from seller. It DOES say "PRESS HERE" on the inner race of the bearing (see pic), so I thought it might be a hard press fit itself. It's at the driveshaft shop now, awaiting their opinion.
