hot starts 200 1989

As of late my 89 240 wgn has had trouble starting only after I have driven it. Cold starts are fine but the subsequent starts I am experiencing trouble. I have just changed the sparks and examined the capwires and rotor. During the hot starts I need to give it a little gas to turn it over---once it idles its runs great. Any ideas where I can start to remedy this??? thanks in advance. 89 wgn 91K
