My a/c quit working (no cold air) this year after seven years without a problem (it was retrofitted to R134a). The compressor runs (I hear the click and the engine speed drops) but it only runs 5 or 10 seconds before shutting off, and then back on again 10 seconds later. The line entering the passenger compartment right next to the pressure switch gets very cold when the compressor kicks in, if that means something. Anyone have an idea? Thanks.
