240 died at highway speed and then no start.... 200

My father in law has been driving our old '90 245 trying to break the 300K mark and it's been running fine.

Yesterday about 10 miles into a 40 mile drive it just died while going 55 down highway. Pulled over and was getting no spark to plugs and wouldn't start. Radio, windows, etc. worked fine.

After finding no solution had it towed back home. After it sat about a couple hours it started working again.

Any ideas? Thanks.
